The door decides the aircraft, not the payload.
Transformers, turbines and mining plant exceed every door opening in the scheduled fleet. We assess loadability piece by piece against door dimensions, floor loading limits and hold geometry before proposing anything, because the largest single piece decides everything that follows.
Nose and ramp loading changes what is possible. The Boeing 747-400F has both a nose door and a side door. The 777F has no nose door at all, despite what a lot of broker copy implies, and that single detail rules it out of most project work.
