What data we collect

We collect two categories of data through this website: data you provide to us directly, and data collected automatically as you browse.

Data you provide

When you submit an enquiry, request a charter quote, or contact us through any form on this website, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your telephone number
  • Your company name and role (where provided)
  • The nature and details of your enquiry

We use this information to respond to your request and, where relevant, to progress a commercial conversation or charter arrangement.

Legal basis: Article 6.1(b) GDPR — processing necessary for steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.

Data collected automatically

When you visit this website, certain technical and behavioural data is collected automatically. This includes your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, and interaction data such as clicks and scroll behaviour.

Legal basis: Article 6.1(a) GDPR — your consent, given or withheld through the cookie preference tool when you first visit the site. Analytical and tracking tools only activate after you accept the relevant cookie category.

Third-party tools we use

We use the following tools on this website. Each operates under a data processing agreement with Fliteline.

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager is a tag management system provided by Google LLC (USA). It does not collect personal data directly, but it controls when and how the analytics and tracking tools below are loaded. All non-essential tools are consent-gated through Google Tag Manager and only activate after you have accepted the relevant cookie category.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this website — which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, where traffic originates, and how visitors navigate between pages. This helps us improve the website over time.

Data is processed by Google LLC and may be transferred to servers in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Analytics data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymised session data, including mouse movements, clicks, and scroll behaviour. This helps us identify where visitors encounter difficulties and improve the website experience. Individual session recordings are not linked to personal identifiers.

For visitors in the EU, data is processed by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, approved by the European Commission in July 2023.

PostHog

We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how visitors interact with specific features and pages on this website. PostHog is hosted on EU cloud infrastructure based in Frankfurt, Germany. Data processed by PostHog does not leave the European Economic Area.

Usercentrics

We use Usercentrics as our consent management platform. It records and stores your cookie preferences and ensures that only tools you have consented to are activated during your visit. Usercentrics GmbH is headquartered in Munich, Germany and operates within the European Union.

Cookie management

All non-essential cookies on this website require your consent before they are set. When you first visit the site, you will be presented with a cookie preference panel. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking Manage Cookies in the footer of any page.

We use the following cookie categories:

Essential cookies Required for the website to function correctly. These include session management and security cookies. They cannot be disabled and do not require consent.

Analytics cookies Used by Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, and PostHog to understand how the website is used. These are only set after you give consent.

International data transfers

Some tools we use transfer data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Google Analytics 4 transfers data to the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Microsoft Clarity transfers data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, approved by the European Commission in July 2023.

PostHog processes data within the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Usercentrics operates within the EU (Munich, Germany). Neither involves international data transfers.

How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. The retention periods applied to data collected through this website vary depending on the type of data and the tool used to collect it.

Each third-party tool listed in this notice operates its own data retention policy. You can find details of those policies via the links provided in each tool's section above.

If you would like to know more about how long we hold a specific type of your data, please contact us using the details below.

  • Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — you can request deletion of your data where there is no lawful reason to retain it.

  • Right to withdraw consent — you can withdraw consent for analytics and tracking at any time by updating your cookie preferences via the Manage Cookies link in the footer.
