Although operating independently, Fliteline benefits from being part of the Rethmann® Group, a family owned business with transport and logistics services at its core.

Founded in 1934 by Joseph Rethmann in the German city of Selm, the Group began by providing rail freight forwarding and haulage services. Over the years, through careful acquisition, the Group has expanded to become a truly multinational business.

Today the Rethmann Group includes 750 operating companies with a turnover in excess of €12bn, operating in 50 countries and employing over 60,000 people.

Fliteline became part of the Rethmann Group in July 2007, when Fliteline’s parent company, the TMI Group, was acquired. Being part of the Group gives Fliteline access to a global network of offices and local contacts on the ground, as well as significant financial backing, recognised all around the world.
